KIELBASA CASSEROLE | |
3 med. potatoes, cooked 1/4 c. onion 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. thyme 2 c. milk 1/2 lb. kielbasa, sliced 1 c. frozen peas 3 tbsp. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. butter Slice potatoes and set aside. Cook onion in 1/4 cup butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture is thick. Place a layer of sausage on bottom, add sliced potatoes and peas and half of sauce. Repeat, ending with sauce. Combine bread crumbs with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. |
