SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
2/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. cream
1 1/2 pt. oysters
Oyster liquid
3 c. bread crumbs, or crackers

Combine onion, butter, salt, pepper, nutmeg, oyster liquid and cream. Heat slightly. Put oysters and crumbs in layers in baking dish. Pour liquid over and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes until brown.
