THREE STEP BEEF ROAST 
2 1/2 lbs. beef roast
5 med. potatoes, pared & cut into eighths
5 med. carrots, quartered
2 (12 oz.) jars Heinz brown gravy
2 (16 oz.) cans Veg-All mixed vegetables
1 envelope Durkee beef stew seasoning

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Season meat with Adolph's natural tenderizer (unseasoned) salt and pepper. Place roast fatty side up in a medium size roasting pan; add water to about the middle of the meat. Add pared and cut potatoes; add quartered carrots (cover on). Bake for 1/2 hour. Next add 2 jars Heinz gravy. With cover on, bake for another 1/2 hour. Then add 2 cans Veg-All mixed vegetables, and 1 envelope of beef stew seasoning. Bake for 1/2 hour (cover off). Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6.
