ZESTY MEATBALLS 
3 lbs. ground beef
2 med. onions, chopped
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Vegetable oil to brown meatballs

SAUCE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. vinegar
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Combine first 7 ingredients. Mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Cook meatballs in hot oil until lightly browned. Drain. Place meatballs in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Makes approximately 6 dozen.
