CRANBERRY COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
1 egg
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. chopped cranberries

Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla together. Beat in milk and egg. Mix and sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir into cream mixture. Blend well. Stir in orange peel and cranberries.

Grease cookie sheet. Space 2 inches apart 1 level tablespoon. Bake 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
