SHISH KABOBS 
3 lb. lean top round or sirloin steak
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. marjoram
6 small onions
6 small green tomato pickles
1/2 c. Burgundy or cooking sherry
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. black pepper
3 large bell peppers, quartered
12 large mushrooms

Cut steak into 2-inch cubes. Combine oil, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, salt, marjoram, Burgundy, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, vinegar and black pepper. Marinate steak in pan at least 6 hours or overnight, turning each piece often.

Parboil veggies, covered with water, and 1 tablespoon oil about 4 minutes. Place meat and veggies (alternating each) on skewer sticks. Use remaining marinade to baste during cooking. Cook on grill, turning as necessary. Serve on platter with 1 teaspoon grain alcohol. Light just before serving for a festive look. This is optional.
