SWEET AND SOUR PICKLES 
Cucumbers

Wash and cut into 1 inch chunks, enough to fill 5 quarts.

To each quart add: 2 celery stalks, cut up 2 fresh dill heads

Heat to boiling: 1/2 c. salt 1 qt. white vinegar 2 qts. water

Pour hot liquid over cucumber chunks in jars. Place in hot water bath canner. Let water come to a full boil. Remove jars.
