MEATBALLS WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. diced green pepper
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1/4 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. onion, grated
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. milk
1 c. mushroom soup

Combine meat, cornmeal, chili powder, salt, pepper, onion, green pepper, egg, and water. Mix well. Shape in small balls and roll in flour; brown in fat. Add mushroom soup which has been thinned with milk. Simmer until done. Makes about 24 meatballs.
