1 lb. loaf frozen bread dough 4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, cut into 1/4 inch sticks 4 whole green chilies, canned or fresh, cut into 1/4 inch strips Let dough thaw until pliable. Using a little flour on dough and fingertips, stretch dough or roll dough out into a long thin strip, approximately 5x30 inches. Arrange strips of cheese and chilies about 2 inches apart to make 16 bread sticks. Using flour on fingertips, bring dough around filling and pinch to seal at all edges. Bake seam side down, 375 degrees, 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately to cool. |
