FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 small can fruit cocktail
1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, 2 cups sugar, soda and salt. Add eggs and fruit cocktail. Turn into 13 x 9-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

About 5 minutes before cake is finished, combine butter, 3/4 cup sugar and milk in saucepan. Simmer, stirring for 1 minute; add vanilla. Pour glaze over hot cake.
