CHOCOLATE NUT PIE 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, melted and cooled
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, beat together eggs, sugar, flour and melted butter just until blended. Stir in pecans, chocolate chips and vanilla. Pour into pie crust and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 c. whipping cream
1 to 2 tbsp. bourbon
1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar

In a mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, beat whipping cream with bourbon until it begins to thicken; gradually add powdered sugar and continue beating until soft peaks form. Serve with warm pie. Makes about 6 servings.
