NUT FRUITCAKE 
3 c. pecans
1 1/2 c. halved maraschino cherries
1 c. light raisins
1/2 c. dark raisins
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/2 c. brandy
2 tbsp. brandy

Use 1 cup raisins and 1 big mixed fruit.

In a large bowl combine nuts and fruits and thoroughly stir together. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add to nut mixture tossing to coat nuts and fruit well. Beat eggs in separate bowl until frothy. Add 2 tablespoons of brandy. Pour this mixture over the fruit mixture. Mix well.

Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or a little more. Wrap in brandy soaked cloth. Soak again in a week. Make 3 weeks ahead. Keep in refrigerator.
