CREAMED BROCCOLI WITH ALMONDS 
3 c. chopped broccoli, cooked & drained
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 c. half & half
3/4 c. hot water
1 beef bouillon cube
2 tbsp. dry sherry
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Pepper to taste
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted

Arrange broccoli in an 8 x 12 inch shallow baking dish. Melt butter and blend in flour. When mixture is smooth, add cream and hot water in which bouillon cube has been dissolved. Stir constantly until mixture is smooth and thickened. Add sherry, lemon juice and pepper. When all are well blended, pour sauce over cooked broccoli and sprinkle with cheese and almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
