EASY OVEN LASAGNA | |
1 c. small curd cottage cheese 1 tbsp. parsley 1 egg 1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1/2 c. water 32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce 12 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 1 pkg. lasagna noodles (DO NOT COOK) Mix together and set aside: cottage cheese, parsley and egg. Brown beef and onion and drain well; add sauce and water and heat to simmer. On the bottom of an 11 x 7 baking dish, put some of the meat sauce, cover with a layer of UNCOOKED lasagna noodles, next layer the cottage cheese mixture followed by a layer of Mozzarella slices. Repeat layering ending with sauce and Parmesan cheese on top. In a regular oven, cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. This recipe can be cooked in a microwave oven cover with plastic wrap. Cooking time will vary with each microwave. This recipe is best made early in the day and refrigerated, and baked later. |
