4 lb. ground meat (hamburger, turkey or pork)
5 or 6 med. onions, finely shredded
1 lg. head cabbage, finely shredded
2 tbsp. (or more) salt
1 tbsp. (or more) pepper
3 boxes hot roll mix, prepared as directed or any light roll dough that begins with about 1 quart liquid
