CORN DOGS 
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of pepper
10-16 hot dogs
Vegetable oil

In bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, egg, paprika, mustard and pepper. Pour mixture into tall glass. Skewer hot dogs with wooden skewers; dip in mixture. Deep fry until golden brown. If Fry Daddy or pan you are using is not deep enough for hot dogs, cut each in half and fry. We call these corn pups.
