BROCCOLI, HAM & MACARONI CASSEROLE | |
1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese 2 tbsp. chopped onion 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. mayonnaise 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained (2 c.) 2 1/2 c. cubed cooked ham 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained Melt butter on low heat; blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly until thickened. Add cheese, onion, mustard, and mayonnaise; blend. Combine macaroni and ham; add sauce. Place half of mixture in shallow 3 quart casserole; spread with broccoli. Top with remaining macaroni-ham mixture. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serves 6. |
