CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
A crunchy, chocolatey, and coconutty cookie!

1/2 cup (1 stick) cold butter
1 1/8 cups bread flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
a handful of coconut flakes
a handful of almonds or hazelnuts

Mix butter with bread flour, salt and baking soda. Add brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla until well combined. Add egg, milk, chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and nuts and mix until combined. Wrap dough in Saran or plastic wrap. Chill dough in refrigerator.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Scoop dough out onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Check the cookies every 5 minutes. Let them cool for a minute or two.
