HOT DOG CHEESIES 
8 frankfurters
8 slices bread
8 slices American cheese
Soft butter
Prepared mustard
1/4 c. butter, melted

Drop frankfurters into a saucepan of 2 cups boiling water. Lower heat, cover and simmer 5 to 8 minutes.

Spread 1 side of the bread with the soft butter and the mustard. Put the slices with the butter and mustard side up on an ungreased baking sheet. Top each piece of bread with 1 slice of cheese. Next, place one drained frankfurter diagonally on each piece of bread and fold 2 corners up to make a triangle. Fasten with wooden toothpicks.

Brush each triangle with the melted butter. Broil sandwiches with tops 4 to 5 inches from heat for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 8 servings.
