1/2 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 c. milk

Mix well - roll out 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters, bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
