LAYERED CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 c. diced onion 1 c. diced green pepper 2 tsp. salt 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, mashed 1 lg. potato, peeled and sliced 1 c. thinly sliced carrot 1/2 c. long rice, uncooked Saute ground beef, onion, pepper until brown; drain. Add salt and mix well. Place potato in bottom of 2 1/2 quart casserole dish; alternate carrots, rice and meat. Pour tomatoes over all. Cover and bake for 2 hours. |
