HAM AND APPLE SAUTE STIR FRY | |
2 tbsp. butter 1 lb. ham steak, cut into strips 3 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces 2 red apples, cored and cut into wedges 2 tbsp. apple jelly 1 tsp. spicy brown mustard 1/4 tsp. caraway seed (optional) In wok or large skillet, melt butter over high heat until just melted. Add ham. Quickly saute until browned. Using a slotted spoon, remove ham from work or skillet. In same wok or skillet, add onions and apples. Cook, stirring, until apples are lightly browned. Return ham to wok or skillet. Add jelly, mustard and caraway seeds. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly until jelly melts. Serve over rice. |
