SNOWBALL COOKIES 
1 c. softened butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar, sifted 2-3 times
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour, sifted 2-3 times
1 c. pecans or almonds, chopped

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and beat a little more. Add sifted flour and nuts. Mix well. Form into walnut size balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Yield: 6 dozen.
