BLACK WALNUT PIE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. black walnuts
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust, chilled

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter over low heat and stir in brown sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time and add vanilla. Pour into pie crust and sprinkle walnuts evenly over pie. Bake until firm, about 45 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
