ORANGE CHICKEN | |
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 1/2 c. orange juice 1 1/4 tbsp. Soy Sauce 1 tbsp. molasses 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/2 c. green pepper, coarsely chopped 1 orange, peeled and sliced 2 tsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. water Place chicken pieces in a single layer in a large skillet. Combine orange juice, soy sauce, molasses, dry mustard, garlic powder, cinnamon and ginder. Pour over chicken. Bring to boil, lower heat. Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes, or until chicken is tender. Add green pepper, cook 5 minutes longer. Remove chicken and green pepper to a serving platter. Add orange slices. Serve with rice. |
