1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
1 3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine dry ingredients, set aside. Beat yolks, milk, oil and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Stir just until combined. Beat whites until stiff. Fold whites and nuts into yolk mixture. Make waffles. Top with ice cream, whip cream, chocolate sauce, cherries, etc.
