TOSSED SALAD WITH ORANGES 
6-8 c. torn greens, spinach, or red leaf lettuce
2-3 green onions, thinly sliced
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
2 oz. slivered almonds, toasted

Combine greens and onions. Just before serving mix and toss with Sweet-Sour Dressing. Arrange on salad plates with mandarin oranges and sprinkle almonds on top.

SWEET-SOUR DRESSING:

1/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
5 drops hot sauce
1 tsp. salt
Pepper

Mix in a jar and shake, covered, vigorously. Makes enough for above salad, about 1/2 cup.
