PICKLED BEETS 
3 cans chunk style beets
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. cloves, ground
1 tsp. allspice
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Pack beets in sterilized jars (hot) and cover with above boiling syrup to within 1/2 inch of the top of the jar. Seal with new rings. Put in bottom of refrigerator.
