SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE | |
1 c. spaghetti, broken into sm. pieces 8 c. water 2 tsp. salt 1/2 onion, chopped 2 tbsp. fat 1/4 lb. ground chuck 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. canned tomatoes 1/2 c. grated cheese Heat 8 cups of water in a saucepan. Add 2 teaspoons of salt. When the water is boiling rapidly. Add the spaghetti slowly so the water does not stop boiling. Cook until the spaghetti melts the fat in a frying pan. Add the onion and meat and cook until the meat begins to brown. Add the tomatoes and seasonings and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the drained spaghetti into the meat mixture and turn the mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle a layer of grated cheese over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. |
