WENNIES AND KRAUT 
1 can of kraut, not chopped
1 qt. water
4-5 slices beacon
4 cooking apples
1 pack of franks

Fry beacon. Save beacon grease. Put kraut in a pot, then add some beacon grease. Peel apples and core. Add apples to the kraut. Cut franks in half. Add sugar to taste. Cook until franks are done.
