FAVA BEANS (PORTUGUESE) 
1 lb. fava beans
2 lg. onions
1 can tomato sauce
3 tbsp. fresh parsley (approximately)
1/2 lb. chorico
Dash of salt and pepper
1 lg. fresh tomato

Cut the tip of the fava beans and soak them overnight. Cook beans until they are well done and soft. Fry onions, garlic and chorico in a little olive oil, then put in the rest of the ingredients and simmer for one hour. Pour over the favas when the favas are done. If you have too much water in the favas drain some out.
