JALAPENO CHEESE DIP | |
1 lb. white american cheese 1/3 - 3/4 c. milk sliced jalapeno peppers out of jar Cut cheese into 1 inch cubes. Place cheese in large, microwave safe glass bowl. Add 1/3 to 1/2 c. milk. Microwave on medium setting for about 10 minutes (stirring every 2 minutes) until melted. If you need to thin the mixture more, add milk and stir. Finely chop peppers until you have about 3 tablespoons. Add to cheese. Microwave 1 minute, stir well. If you want the cheese dip to be more spicy, add jalapeno juice from the jar 1 Tbsp at a time. To serve, keep warm in a fondue pot (stir to keep from burning bottom). Great with tortilla chips. |
