LEMON BUTTER POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. milk 4 eggs, separated 2 tsp. lemon flavoring Cream butter and sugar. Beat egg yolks, add mixture beating well. Add flour, baking powder alternately with milk. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture along with flavoring. Bake in tube pan 1 hour at 325 degrees. |
