CORN MOUSSAKA | |
1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained 1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 2 beaten eggs 1 1/2 c. cream style cottage cheese 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 4 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese Combine corn and spread in an ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole. In skillet, brown ground beef; drain off fat. Add flour; cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic powder, and cinnamon; pour over corn in dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine eggs and cottage cheese; spread over meat mixture. Top with Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese. Bake 10 to 15 minutes more. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
