GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
About 5 lb. potatoes
1 onion
Salt and pepper
Pickles, chopped
Bacon, up to you how much
Oil and vinegar
4 eggs, boiled

Boil potatoes; peel and let cool for a while. Then slice your potatoes into a bowl, chop up onion, pickles, and eggs. Fry the bacon but first cut it into little pieces. Pour a little of the grease off. Then as hot as the bacon is, pour it over the potatoes, then add your onions, pickles, and eggs. Add salt and pepper, oil, and vinegar to taste. It's your choice on how much. Then mix everything up real good. Let set for a while. I think it tastes better the next day. Try it. It's good with fish, sausage, cold cut sandwiches, etc.
