ICE BOX COOKIES 
ICING:

1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 tbsp. milk
2 or 3 drops green food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

Whole graham crackers
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. coconut
1 c. graham crackers

Line a 9"x13" pan with whole graham crackers. Mix 2 sticks butter, 1/2 cup milk, sugar, and egg in a pan and bring to a boil. Cool, then add 1 cup chopped nuts, coconut and graham cracker crumbs. Mix well and set aside until batter begins to set. Then pour over whole graham crackers, then top with another layer of whole graham crackers.

For the icing, mix the powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, vanilla and food coloring. Mix these well and spread on top of cookies. Place in refrigerator for several hours. Cut into small squares. Keep refrigerated.
