HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
Pinch of salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. hot milk
1/2 c. butter

Heat butter and milk together until butter is all melted, leave cool; beat eggs a little in big bowl and then add sugar; beat on high for 5 minutes; add dry ingredients and beat; add liquid mixture and beat (don't over beat).

Put in ungreased tube pan at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Invert cake to cool. Or it makes 2 1/2 dozen cupcakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
