TEA CAKES 
2 1/4 c. self rising flour
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. milk
1 or 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Put vanilla in milk. Combine with remaining ingredients. Knead dough until well blended. Roll on floured board. Cut and bake at 350 degrees, approximately 5 minutes.
