RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla well. Sift and stir in flour and salt. Mix in 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar. Cool and roll again in powdered sugar.
