TERIYAKI CHICKEN 
1 1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. bourbon whiskey
3 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger root
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 fryers, quartered

Mix all ingredients and pour into large plastic bag. Add chicken, tie bag and refrigerate overnight. Turn several times the next day.

When ready to cook, remove from bag and pat dry. Heat one side of gas grill on high. Pat chicken on unlit side. Close cover and don't open for 1 hour. No need to turn! Neighbors may sneak over.
