MARINADE FOR PORK TENDERLOIN OR
FLANK STEAK
 
1/2 c. tamari sauce or soy sauce
1/4 to 1/2 c. sesame oil
1-2 cloves fresh garlic
Fresh ginger
Star anise
2-3 broken szechuan peppercorns (optional)
Few drops of hot oil
Ketchup or barbecue sauce
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Overnight - longer is better.
