BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
2 lg. eggs or 3 sm. ones
4 tbsp. flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Butter, size of a walnut

Mix the flour with the brown sugar. Add milk and egg yolks, saving the whites for meringue. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add salt, butter and vanilla. Put in a baked pie crust and top with meringue and brown.
