MARINATED VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 lg. can English peas, drained
1 lg. can French green beans
1 can white whole corn, drained
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped onion (mild)
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped celery
1 jar pimento
1/2 to 1 c. fresh broccoli (optional)
1/2 to 1 c. cauliflower (optional)
1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. oil

Bring sugar, vinegar and oil to a boil and make sure it is mixed well. Pour over vegetables which have been drained and mixed. Let stand overnight before serving. It is an addition to any meal. Keeps well in refrigerator for a week.
