CALIFORNIA CHEF'S SALAD 
THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING:

1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Dash red pepper
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. chili sauce

Combine mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, red pepper, lemon juice, catsup, Worcestershire and chili sauce. Chill.

SALAD:

2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
8 c. torn salad greens
1/4 c. sliced green onions
2 cucumbers, sliced
4 thin slices salami or cooked ham, cut in strips
1/2 c. cubed cooked turkey or chicken
Minced parsley

To make salad, toss tomatoes, greens, green onions and cucumbers together. Place in deep salad bowl and top with salami and turkey. Serve dressing separately in sauce bowl, sprinkled with parsley. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
