MEAT LOAF WELLINGTON 
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. catsup
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 lb. hamburger
7/8 oz. pkg. mushroom gravy mix

Combine eggs, milk, catsup, dry onion soup mix, parsley and bread in bowl. Mix well. (Recipe does not state how much bread. I use small amount.)

PASTRY:

1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. vegetable shortening
2 tbsp. butter, cut into pieces
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. water

Combine flour and salt in bowl. Cut in vegetable shortening, then cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in water. Chill 30 minutes. Roll to 1/8 inch thickness. Center rolled pastry over loaf, tucking pastry around bottom of loaf to seal in juices. Prick tops with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Prepare mushroom gravy from mix. Serve over meat loaf.
