BIRD FEEDER 
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. ground suet or peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. water
1 c. bird seed

1. In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, suet/peanut butter, sugar and flour. Stir in water.

2. Microwave on HIGH for 3-5 minutes or until mixture is very thick.

3. Stir in bird seed. Cool.

4. Press into a pie pan or mold (milk carton, sour cream container, etc.).

5. Put in the refrigerator to cool and harden.

6. Unmold and place outside. Enjoy watching the birds dine.

This has been a very successful Cub Scout project. It covers badge requirement and is a lot of fun, too.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
