BEAN SOUP FOR 40 PEOPLE 
5 lb. beans
1 gallon tomatoes, chopped
1 c. chopped onions
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 lb. pork fat
3 tbsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

In large container, cook the beans with pork fat, salt and baking soda until mostly done. Add tomatoes, onion, hot sauce and sugar and simmer until completely done. Beans and tomatoes will be real soupy.
