ICED BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; bring water to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook until chocolate melts. Combine sugar, flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl; add chocolate mixture, mixing well. Add eggs; beat well. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into a greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Ice while hot.

ICING:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. soft butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Add few drops hot water, just enough to make the consistency to spread while cake is hot.
