HALF-TIME SPOON ROLLS 
3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. butter
1 egg

Combine 1 1/2 c. flour, sugar, salt, and yeast; blend. Heat milk and water until very warm. Add liquid and egg to flour mixture. Beat 3 minutes at low speed.

By hand stir in the remaining flour to form a stiff batter. Let rise in a warm place until double in size. Stir to remove bubbles. Spoon into muffin tins-- about 2/3 full. Let rise until double in size.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
