CRANBERRY BREAD 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. orange juice
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cranberries
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix in order given, without cranberries and nuts. Cut cranberries in half and add to batter with nuts. Bake 350 degrees in buttered loaf pan, 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream or cream cheese.
